Procedencia geográfica y extracción social de las mujeres de los centuriones de la legio III Augusta

Resumen

El presente artículo pretende analizar la extracción geográfica y social de las mujeres de los centuriones que pasaron por la legio III Augusta. Esta cuestión se abordará con la finalidad de intentar averiguar si la elección de la pareja pudo haber estado influenciada por criterios geográficos, y, de ser así, si esta tendencia fue homogénea, o, si por el contrario, experimentó cambios a lo largo del tiempo. Del mismo modo, intentará verse cuál o cuáles fueron los principales medios sociales de los que los centuriones eligieron a sus cónyuges.
