Un tapiz fenicio en Galera (Granada, España): tapices y tejidos hispano-fenicios

La identificación de la célebre pintura de una tumba ibérica de Galera como alfombra y no como pintura parietal, siguiendo la descripción de Cabré y Motos, constituye la primera representación conocida de una alfombra de tipo fenicio, a base de flores de loto. Recientemente se han descubierto otros monumentos con representación de tejidos, lo que confirma su importancia como elemento difusor de motivos iconográficos y decorativos y también de ideas y símbolos religiosos.Citas
